«Она была характерна для тех, у кого развивалась пневмония, которая затрагивала плевру. «Омикрон» тоже может вызвать пневмонию, люди погибают от этой ковидной пневмонии при большом поражении, но боль в грудной клетке стала встречаться реже», — рассказал Болибок в беседе с телеканалом «Москва 24».
При этом он назвал симптомы, характерные для омикрон-штамма.
«Признаком «омикрона» является сильная боль в горле, заложенность носа, сухой кашель. К этому добавляется повышение температуры, сильная слабость и головная боль», — объяснил Болибок.
Он также отметил, что при заражении этим штаммом возможна потеря обоняния, но этот симптом появляется ближе к выздоровлению.
Напомним, ранее Межведомственная комиссия по нераспространению коронавирусной инфекции на заседании 12 января приняла решение по ужесточению санитарно-карантинных мер в Казахстане из-за ухудшения эпидемиологической ситуации и циркуляции штамма «омикрон».
